I came a cross this video after hearing rumours that Iranian fundamentalist are preparing for 3 WW. It’s a fundamentalist propaganda video ‘The coming is Upon Us’ preparing the masses for coming of messiah Mahdi.
The video refer to the ideas described in a book ‘Last six months’ about conditions that will bring the messiah. The following lines come from the article on http://www.wnd.com
Mahdi will only reappear, Shiites believe, when Israel is destroyed and the U.S. is brought to its knees; two-thirds of the world’s population will die in a nuclear exchange, and with this chaos and havoc engulfing the earth, the “coming” will unfold.
Watching the video and reading this gives me shivers. Fundamentalism of any kind bears striking similarity. This film could easily be an orthodox Christian propaganda if we only change players. It’s hard to understand how anybody can belief that war and murder will bring justice.
I was reading recently that some Muslim fundamentalist in Egypt call for demolition of Great Pyramids. When I hear this kind of thing it makes me incredibly angry, but it reminds me of anti Islamic agenda here in the west. At the end of the article about the pyramids I linked to you can read :
Will all those international institutions, which make it a point to look the other way whenever human rights abuses are committed by Muslims, lest they appear “Islamophobic,” at least take note now that the Great Pyramids appear to be next on Islam’s hit list, or will the fact that Muslims are involved silence them once again—even as those most ancient symbols of human civilization are pummeled to the ground?
This makes me think of all the temples destroyed by Christians. In fact the western civilisation could be seen as a prime source of inspiration for sacrilege and jihad. The rumours spread about the WW3 play up into hands of Muslim extremist as well as U.S. government with its imperialist agenda as they are both pressing for war. In a similar way getting winded up by destruction of pyramids, although understandable, would not help in along run. It could be seen as irony that both sides call for peace and justice and neither want to take responsibility for their own actions blaming the other for all evil.
The documentary ‘Iran is not a problem.’ brings good insights into these issues for those of you who don’t know much about history of conflict between U.S.A and Iran. It’s very easy to point a finger. Quoting Jesus:
“Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.”
